Favorite Trilogy??
So, as I rudely bought up star wars in a debate about star trek captains, I thought it'd be interesting to find out what your favorite trilogy of movies are.
Since it's a trilogy, i'm gonna list off three of my favorite trilogies.
1: Lord of the Rings. This whipped the original star wars trilogy.
2: Back to the Future.
3: Star Wars Episodes 4-6.

Lord Of The Rings is my favorite, I agree with you, The Matrix let me down, too.
I also Like the Highlander movies, nothing like a guy in a kilt with a sword....makes ya wanna  !
In horror, I love the Jason movies, yes, I know they're bad (and not exactly a trilogy  ) , but that is what makes them so good!!!!! A true horror trilogy is the Evil Dead series, Bruce Campbell is awesome!

You know they're making a Jason vs. Freddy vs. Ash??? As hokie as it sounds... i would most definitely see it.

1. Lord of the Rings. ---- just plain cool
2. Star Wars 1-2-3... the new one is too "format oriented"
3. Godfather 1-2-3.

Ok, you're right, I'd watch it. That'd be cool as heck, dumb as it sounds. I can't wait to see AVP.
And SAW, looks pretty scary too.

Yeah, I wanna see SAW too. Been following it since it appeared at the Cannes film festival. But it sucks that it went from NC-17 to rated R. I remember one of the original reviews i read on it read something like
"Most movies push the boundaries yet still consider audiences reaction. This movie doesn't give a damn what you think."
and my favorite comment about the movie came in one magazine.
"Fucked up!"
