I guess the walk in the woods and hot dogs and rolls over the little campfire with a bottle of boones farm is out (how could I be so sappy)I will just grap a couple hour nap, Iwill just rig up my 20 foot telescopic crappie rod grab a cup of dunkin donuts coffee and hit the tidal creek for some smelt fishing high tide is about 2AM C-YA

something i miss is picking up a girl, driving my truck out to this little lake in the middle of absolutely no where, parking the truck and tossing out a line (like we were fishing or something) then just sit and talk as we sit in the bed of the truck as the sun starts its beautiful display of colors as it sets, eventually we are not even speaking.. just curled up together on the sleeping bag in the bed of the truck as the stars begin to appear... often times falling asleep with her in my arms right there in the cool summer air... like nothing else in the world exists not even time itself.. only to wake to an even more awe inspiring sun rise as I realize everything i need in life is right there in my arms... so beautiful, so innocent, so fulfilling...... i SO wish i can find that again

I wish I had that again too. Once upon a time me and boyfriend use to go find a deserted road, lay on top of the warm hood, and just stare at the stars and talk. More times than not it turned into more but either way was nice. Not sure how many windshield wipers we replaced either.

thats just it tease, these things all come from someone or something thats meant something to me... mostly things that are now gone, i do write them down occasionlly not to be read but just because it feels right... i dont try, they just come out in a minute or two. i dont see it as poetry but i have given it a try before... it dont work, i get lost in searching for the "correct" words, rhymn schemes, rythem, etc.... i'll just stick to what feels right for me but THANK YOU for the compliment anyway, means a lot coming from someone who isnt a bad poet herself.
