HOT SPOTS
I have to travel the south from Washington
to Florida for three weeks in Nov.Please chime in with any hot spots one can chill at during down-time.I will be in Washington,North/South
Carolina,VA,Florida(Miami-I think I have this one covered,LOL).I will also be Ohio and Tenn
in December.
Any insights would be helpful..

This time of year it's a hard call but you can try.
N.C.- Mars in Raliegh, Mad Monk in Wilmington, actually all the major cities in NC good.

I have been told that in Cleveland the Warehouse district (whatever that is) has the places, and the eats too.
In Akron. a place called "Fuel" is recommended. although my source isn't really up on the latest...
can't help you with memphis.... haven't been there. no closer than Athens, TN which has no hotspots other than the tractor sales store.

I've never heard of the Warehouse district but it may be the same as the flats. I've only been down there once and I wasn't old enough to do anything but I'm sure Deye would know.

The Cleveland Beach Club
is supposed to be a good place for music/dancing and whatever else.. carribean style decor i guess so maybe it is for you artful?
like CG says it is in the "flats"

The Flats and The WareHouse Districts are pretty much the same thing. Not much left open. Most new bars are now above the Flats on West 4th and 6th street. The Flats were / are the east and west bankes of the Cuyahoga River that was once filled with dance clubs etc. They rocked in the summer cause you could sit by the river and watch the hudge ore boats and pleasure craft cruise by. In the winter it's too damn cold! Not sure how many clubs are left, but it's sure not what it was.

Hell yeah!! San Antonio's Fiesta is rockin! I went there and wooooweeee!!! The bountiful booty walking all in front of me. If you find some of the block parties they have like 500 vendor stands and 400 of them are nothing but beer and booze.
