I think you're wrong. I've been here a while, if you're really serious about hooking up, a photo greatly improves your chances. Doesn't have to be a nude photo. But a profile with no photo rarely, rarely gets looked at. Just my opinion

take yourself for instance, do you notice the ones with no photo as much, do you check them out as much as the ones with photos, do you even bother to look at the non photo profiles or just pass them by??? Exactly my point

The choice is all yours, doode...depends on what you want to get from this site....you want serious replies to hook up requests, your gonna need photos, either posted publicly, in a locked album, or stored on your computer to share discriminatory..
If you want a place to hang out, become a part of a online community, socialization...then a photo isn't always necessary, maybe once you feel more comfortable here with us, you'll post one or two...
There's allot of members here I've been friends with for years, some friends are more recent, but not all have photos ....I feel like I know them all equally...
