Sounds like a programming error, does this happen on just the one site?

Hi Kev, been a while,,,nice to see you again man....

Yes....it is just the one site. I've found i can still login to it

Re: Any idea what this means?
Strange errors can sometimes happen if you are not using Internet Explorer as the browser. Close the browser you are using and try the site with IE. Some sites could be doing some web trickery not supported by non-IE browers.

I use Firefox and had an error on a site. Tried IE and it was fine.

Just something to try!

Re: Any idea what this means?
Hun, I agree also, it looks like a program error that was overwritten to you. It should have only been gelivered to the server or host program. If the site tends to get alot of traffic at certain times of day, it will overload some aspects of the server.
I play alot of online poker and sometimes, they have to restrt their server. I got a similar message once, not the exact text but the same context. It is just a batch mailer message for - I believe MSDOS. I haven't been to school on it and I am probably way off, but it is a internal error message.
And also, check to make sure if you have IEXPLOR you make it the default browser. You can get same kind of message from having more than one browser, The server can't recognize the true browser.
I had to reload my xp after a very nasty worm, and instead of deleting old op system, I ended up overwriting it.
Took me nearly 2 months to figure out that I had 2 instances of IE explor running. Happen to find it with task manager.
I got plenty off instance messages at the time and I assumed it was their server not being powerfull enough. ( It was on party poker when they were a baby site and they were growing by leaps and bounds.
Once I went in and uninstalled explorer and reinstalled it , the ensured it was set as default. Everything cleared up.
I hope this short explanation makes sense. ( I know it doesn't but I like to think I figured out a little reading all I can about windows. )

Re: Any idea what this means?
Yep...sometimes, maybe most of the time(?)the best way to handle error message on any program is to just uninstall/re-install.
Trying to dig, find, search and repair takes allot of time, sanity and patience.

Re: Any idea what this means?
Hey there.. as a PHP programmer.. i believe that argument makes sense. It appears that the apache server is kicking back an error because the PHP programming in the site that you are visiting has issues with browser types. If done correctly, different browsers can flawlessly use the given site with nothing out of the ordinary. And yes, separate lines of code needs to be added in certain cases for different browsers out there, depending on the types of files or redirects a person is requesting of thier site.

The first part of your error is: function. This is a basic reserved PHP command. The second part of your error is: usp_WEB_Department. This is the name of the function that is messing up. Somewhere in the coding for that function, it is not coded correctly to handle your request. These errors are to help the programmer debug (fix) their code without reading everything to find it. Most web designers/programmers make changes to their sites, without consideration to changing any coding to make their sites browser friendly to everyone. Just to note.. if that site isn't PHP.. it's running something real close to it like ASP that has the same types of errors to it. Anyways... that's probably it. Hope this helps!

Actually, it was some guy posting his phone number all over the place offering "professional" free sexual advice...oh, I'm so sure he was qualified and just had a butt load of diplomas, training and degrees....the "you're a fake and phonie" thing was his hook...

I need to go through and totally delete all his posts,
