Just for Today
It’s not the clothes that you wear, nor the style of your hair, or the kind of car you drive each day...
It’s about what’s in your heart, and how you treat a person in a special way.
It’s not about what you look like, or the possessions you own...
It’s about the warmth of your smile, and how you relate and have grown.
It’s not about what someone’s said to you, it’s how they said it, as we all have our moments that we go through..
It’s about showing compassion from your soul, and how a hug can radiate and warm that person and you.
It’s not about what someone has accomplished in his or her life, nor the education, or where they have been...
It’s about having common sense and the knowledge of life,
and how you are able to share both of your voyages now and till then.
As you travel through life’s mysteries,
Remember, you are loved and thought of in every way,
Life can be cruel with all its daily challenges,
So, just smile for today!
