Awakening
So as I asked myself in that almost dream,why not
and I answered,but it was mumbled,not clear,reflective
It was no ordinary dream you see,..I imagined myself as a fish
But I do not swim,I imbue myself with the reality of liquid
Humorous it was, it does not suffice,it seems hollow,forced,redundant
Then there was the sky making excuses for the clouds,as if.the sun cared
When was there ever a sun that did not shine,..I know the moon remembered
Stepping along a path of broken branches,I grasped the meaning of life
Though I forgot by the noon of the dreams second chapter,lost by the dies casting
Why would I need to contemplate this,I had a frog to speak with,reminiscence
The gleam in my eye matched the spry of my step,.and jealous suns be damned
That frog told the best stories,he made them up but why disassemble
If the words held anything ,they kept the secret along with my awakening.
