Is it cheating or not?
If you're in a hetero relationship and your partner wants to fool around with a member of the same sex would you view it as cheating? provided they dont have your "written permission"??

Absolutely it's cheating, it doesn't matter if it's with a member of the same sex or not, since they are going behind their partners back. I have never had any sexual relations with any other women and never would, unless my wifes with me enjoying at the same time. And would never ever have homosexual relations with another guy. It's one of those funny societal things, female/female is OK, female/male is OK, male/male is OK in private, but it's getting more mainstream, which is fine with me, I have friends that are men who are openly gay , GOD they are fun to be with.

Used to date a girl back in the day... She was bisexual , and she was always upfront with me about it...When I would call to see if she wanted to go out , if she had other plans , she told me .. I was o.k. with that and it never bothered me...but then came a time when she started making excuses for not being able to go out ...It was'nt her so much as it was her friend who would find reasons for her not to see me .. so was she cheating .. I don't know , but she was definetly being deceptive...!!!

if your partner wanted to try things (both people should feel comfortable with one another, and trust has a lot to do with it too) and both knows about it.. then i think it'll be okay as long as the 2 in the relationship are fairly open and honest about it and knows what they want from someone else being in the picture. If one of the 2 doesnt know anything about it, then i consider it cheating.
Thats just how I see it.

In Biblical scripture just thinking about having sex with someone is considered Cheating. In modern times and here, I would prefer to call it, "taking time to smell the roses". If your partner is hurt their probably insecure, if you partner is Pissed your probably headed for a separation or Divorce anyway, and you should consider playing scrabble or home network gardening, or cooking instead of a sex website.

If it is done behind the long term partners back then I feel it is cheating. If on the otherhand it has been discussed fully and openly with the partner and there is an understanding of what is expected and some ground rules in play then I do not feel that it is cheating.

OK my two cents ..
If you are in a relationship with someone . and you wish to be with another , without your partner being there to play along . it is cheating ..
Do you think your partner would agree ....
if you said it was with the same sex so it wasn't cheating .. it is contact with another person no the one you are with ... there for any contact out of the relationship with others would be considered cheating ...
Even eating is cheating ...
