Sheer nightgown
A husband walks into a very exclusive shop to buy a negligee for his wife.
Being an exclusive shop, the items are quite expensive and run from 250 to 500 dollars, with the most sheer being the most expensive.
Since he wants this to be a very special gift for his wife, he opts for the most expensive.
He goes home and presents the gift to his wife and excitedly asks her to please model it for him.
Upstairs the wife has an idea. (She's no dummy.) She says to herself, "It is SO sheer that it might as well be nothing. I'll stand way up at the top of the stairs and model it naked. He won't realize it and I'll take the negligee back to the shop and keep the 500 hundred back for myself."
She appears at the landing on the top of the stairs...a little balcony-type thing and strikes a pose.
The husband looks and says, "Good grief...you would think for 500 hundred dollars they would at least iron it!"
He never heard the shot.
Funeral is Thursday.
