happened or happens? we chat often on the sister site but have not seen any one in chat here. being a free member probably doesnt help, kinda limited on what we can or cant do.

Free members can Chat, but there seems to be a problem for some logging into Chat.
The problem for me seems to have been fixed....For others ,not so much.

the chat software is Java based, and ever since the last update they made the security levels too high for the chat software that's used on this site to run properly. there are other options being explored, but it takes time, and the right software has not been found yet. apparently there are a few that can get in, that may be using Macs, as Apple has outlawed the use of Java on any of their machines. but i'm no techie, so i really don't know for sure. when i first joined this site back in '06 the chat rooms were full on a nightly basis, at one point there was 40 members in chat lobby at one time, the conversations and topics were fast, if you weren't careful, or a slow typer, it was easy to get lost. lol

I feel like this as with other sites there are cycles. The tech issues on here does make things more challenging for those who have been on here for a long time and love it. Unfortunately this site is not a first priority (in my opinion) for the owners because it doesn't make enough money to warrent the time and money it demands to keep it current as far as hardware or software. Even those who have been on here a long time get frustrated if they update to a new phone , tablet or computer and can no longer get into the chat room. I wouldn't be shocked at all if at some point soon they just let the site die out. I would imagine if it becomes to much of a pain in the ass to the owners it will be sooner than later that they just pull the plug. My advice would be to make sure that you get people's emails or other ways of contacting each other in case that happens. I've seen it happen on bigger sites than this.The nice thing about a site like this is it's small enough that you really get to know people as opposed to the bigger sites.

I was wondering on rolling back the java drivers, as I seen you can do that. also had my fill of the web-cam, think ill never turn it on again . we been under a lot of stress the last few months I have a unwanted that moved in next to me, and the big brown mutt that chases the wife in the back door, these dogs are not on a chain, I have heard so much good stuff about them, animal abuse,4 count Pedro, bailjumper, and a big mouth...

i tried that, but then i kept getting prompted to update to the newest version. and still couldnt get in.

How we use the internet has evolved, this site is pretty much the same as it was a decade ago.
The human attention span seems to have been shortened too much for most people to be happy with a message board or sending and waiting for messages.
People love their apps. left swipe, right swipe...everything in a quick minute.
It's not just adult sites, all websites who have a foundation in the dated system of forums and messages are going stagnant. To keep interests, a site needs to offer apps.

yikes, i have a cell phone ..... no apps, no internet, ect. when i want to talk to somebody i can call or text....its great lol

been on a few , over a long time , keep taking stuff away . one day I decide enough. when ya cant share info,whats the use being there? much less paying to upgrade member ship. we have kissed off three so far , if ya cant get anything out of it, whats the use. I have 2 that I use left,been there a long timwe too, like this site. good to hear ya chazzy.

Yeah, chat used to be really a lot of fun here. But it got to the point where, if you could get in, so many others couldnt and vise versa and after so many attempts, it wasn't worth the time to even try. It's too bad too because a lot of friends have lost touch with eachother

Well as I've been away for some time I am not aware of the changes or problems. It does seem quiet around here! I agree about getting contact info from long time friends met here if possible. For me a true friend is someone you can keep in touch with all the time yet if you are not in touch for whatever reason for a time, you feel the "bond" as soon as you are back in touch. Life dictates how ones ability etc. makes some of these thing mentioned happen.
To those long time friends I've met here, please don't think I've forgotten you! The laughs, serious talk...yes passionate and imaginative times as well, woo hoo! 
I have friends met online that are more real than many I've known face to face for years. There are many such people here...

2 days of rain melted off a lot, cars going Thu the river. lots of mud and grass. Friday back to the 20s and more snow. then the fog the other night was awful.still got lots of piles though.
