Why, why, why? I'm just a guy wanting to be bi
I find myself getting frustrated at the lack of places to meet other bisexuals in person. Online is fine, but it would be nice to have a few places to go that are bi. After decades of keeping my bisexuality to myself, all I want to do is be around other bi's as I release my inner bi wild man. I've been to a couple of "mixed crowd" bars, but they seem to be more gay than anything. The same question always seems to be asked of me at these clubs..."You're not gay are you?". I never seem to get anywhere when I tell people that I'm bi, not gay or straight. I need a bisexual hangout spot in the L.A. area. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks and stay bi.

I think you're right, bi and gays don't mix that well. (Most) gays think of bi-sexuals as people who are just curious and want to "dabble" when are usually looking for someone who is serious and sure of their sexuality . As you say in your own profile, you bi- sexuality is a part of you that you would want to keep private and gay men are usually pretty proud of who they are, and not looking for an inexperienced dabbler.
A place just for bi-sexuals to meet and mix would seem to be a very good idea. Allot of bi-sexual men are like you.
curious, no experience, etc...
Hopefully, some of our bi-sexual members will share some of their success suggestions with you.

Damn. Practicing my hobby the way I do, believe me, have had the oppotunity to do so much more than exchange handjobs from time to time. Try the personal phone dating lines, or placing an ad in adult classified publications, and try being a nudist/exhibitionist, as me, trust me, you'll get all the action you want. Once you get your hook-up, greet him at the door, naked. It's on. Gay /bi men are just as visually stimulated as us str8's. Instant hard-on.
