Re: the wife's writing a book
She'll let you know if she wants you, or anyone to read her book. Sometimes people choose to do it for therapeutic reasons, it's just good for them to write it down, or keep a journal or diary. It's a healthy thing to do.
Sometimes, due to the very honest and even raw emotions that may be involved, some may prefer that what they write, not ever be read, or not be read while they are still alive.

Re: the wife's writing a book
Ask her. She will tell you. My husband knows that if I don't put my writing away that means he can read it. If it's on his bedside table, he better read it. LOL If he is unsure, he asks. Books are meant to be read. Diaries are not. The writers I know are flattered when someone is excited about reading what they wrote.

They sure are flattered when they are told that their writing excited their reader.
It's supposed to be what every (erotic) writer dreams of.

Re: the wife's writing a book
I've always done artwork too, ash...but there are long periods of times when I don't. You ought to get back to it when you yearn too. It's been awhile for me but I'll pick it back up again I'm sure.

Why don't you draw the pictures to accompany your wife's story Ashkats?
It'd be a joint effort then.
