Your Most Memorable Intimate/Romantic Moment
I was hoping we could share those meaningful, knowing exchanges with our partner, or our most significant lover, ex-lover etc.
Was it a gesture, a location, or what she/he said? Is there one small space in time that you cherish more than any other?
I just got back from spring break where I met my first love I had in high school. We talked a lot and she told me that she fall in love with me the first time we met. For me, I realized I fall in love with her much later, especially after this incident below...
I had estranged from my parents, and was dirt poor, putting myself through school. I didn't want her to know about my financial situation, because I thought she would drop me if she knew. It was only our second serious date. I was very sensitive about my old car, my sparse wardrobe, my wallet--because my parents were wealthy, and I wasn't used to 'roughing it'.
We were driving from dinner in a pouring rainstorm, in my really old Mustang, when the car died. I turned red, and tried to coax the car, but it was going nowhere.
She turned to him and smiled, and said, "I love walking in the rain. C'Mon."
We walked to my apartment, like we were walking on the beach, holding hands, talking and laughing. Years later, now, I told her that was the night I fell in love with her. Sometimes, it can be the simplest thing. She told me that since then or before then, she had never walked in the rain before. It was a great spring break!
Looking forward to your stories!

Re: Your Most Memorable Intimate/Romantic Moment
I'm going to have to say one of my most romantic moments was with a guy I wasn't even dating. We were friends and we were at a small party. We were trying to talk(to become more than friends) but with all the noise and people butting in it was kindof pointless. So as a slow song comes on he grabs my arm and drags me to the bathroom. He shuts the door turns off the light so tts pitch black and slow dances with me. Nobody could bother us and since it was dark the only thing we could concentrate on was the feel of each others bodies and the music. Stomped all over my feet but hell I didn't care. He never did kiss me then though I wish he would have. We were both virgins and kindof shy. Who knows where we could have been if he had.

Re: Your Most Memorable Intimate/Romantic Moment
I don't think I would have waited for the kiss that never happened if it were you lovemetender. Or been a virgin after the dance.
The only thing that spoils the memory is the knowledge that when he was about 24 he joined the service, went overseas, got into a bike accident(no helmet), and died. Sad end to a lovely story.

Re: Your Most Memorable Intimate/Romantic Moment
on our first date, my last boyfriend and i sat on the tailgate of my pick-up for a couple hours, watching a dui checkpoint.
sounds goofy, but we talked for a long while - with live entertainment.
we made our own entetainment after that. who'ld a thunk a 58 year old man could go 6 times in one night!
