Are you allergically hyper-sensitive?
Anyone have any allergies? Environmental, Seasonal (weather, time of the year), Medications (orally, topical), Foods? There are so many effects from allergies, depending many factors they can range from the nasal/sinuses/airway passages, eyes, ears, skin and/or gastrointestinal, their nasty to deal with especially when there are more than one, and trying to figure out the root of why you have that particular one or more than one all at the same time!!

I just got over the goldenrod seanson, beautiful field of it across the road, but gawd what headaches!
Got a house full of animals, so I gotta stay on top of things, and sometimes sleep with an air cleaner.

I've seen well cared for and clean carpets in homes, carpet is fine.
I prefer area rugs if I could have rugs, this old house has all original hardwoods, and it's just easier on me to sweep and mop than vacuum and shampoo.

Area rugs are the best, and can breathe better, not sneezing, eye's watering etc. from them as much!

Throughout the house were rugs, EVERYWHERE! I'll have you know... I RIPPED all of them out, refinished all the hardwood floors underneath the rugs, everyone in the house benefited and breathed much better!

A good way to help with outdoor plantbased allergies is to eat a teaspoonful of honey a day..... the honey has to be local, though. I know a few people who have tried it and it has helped tremendously!

I hear ya L&H, I'm not one that can take penicillin or sulfur based drugs, or many other forms of drugs for medical related conditions due to being allergic to them. Codeine, Morphine, Prednisone, other anti-biotics, muscle relaxers, the list is endless, never let alone scents, air-borne, environmental, mold/dust, rugs, foods, chemicals, soaps/shampoos.

Everyone is allergic to something, in one form or another. I had been taking niacin for around a year, then all of a sudden I got a reaction to it and had to stop. Sometimes it may take awhile to develope the allergy.

I totally agree with ya flp anyone can be allergic to more than one thing, as we get older it gets more profound with age. Furthermore, when one deals with or has any auto-immune system conditions and/or diseases (such as: diabetes, thyroid, lupus, cancer, leukemia, etc. these individuals resistance and resilience is weaker and it's harder for them to fight off allergies, common colds, etc., and takes longer for them to gain and return their strength and feel better.
