How long can you keep a chicken in the freezer?
I'm just wondering, because I put one in tonight, how long can I keep it for?

As long as ya want. it's not going to fly away.  I'd say a week or two. Make sure it's wrappped well to prevent freezer burn.

Do you plan on letting it out to feed it?
Okay, if you're talking about a dead frozen one, that could depend on how well you wrap it. Vacuum sealed will last allot longer, but ziplocks with most of the air pressed out, and maybe some extra freezer wrap, and it'll keep for at least up to a year.
But I'd google it, just to get the best answer from the experts...I'm an ex chicken farmer, I'm better at questions about live chickens and eggs.

I've had chickens frozen for months and never had a problem when defrosted them.

Hap, I guess that chicken didn't have time to fly over the coo coo's nest, he landed in it (frozen wastelanded freezer)! Now ya need to start-a-pluckn'! One more thing, don't choke the chicken!

Well, I dunno...maybe google up "baked cryogenic poultry recipes...
