If you love someone....
....set them free !! Could you do it? Have you done it?
You must have them in your life because you just can't see living without them, but knew in your heart you weren't the best for them, or knew it was someone else that truly could make them happy. Would you continue to pursue a relationship because of your need and love him or her ?

When my only love left me I was devistated and wanted him back. It took a few months to realize that he was happy without me, so I let him be. Then he got a new girlfriend. I went crazy, but I let them be because he was happy. It killed me to watch, but as long as he was happy I could do it. Now, as soon as he was UNhappy, then I got a little bitchy with people...

Been there. If it's one sided it's not worth the effort. It's really hard to walk away but 10 or 15 years later you'll see I'm right

It took a year to get over it, but I still love her somewhere deep inside.I did let her go , without a fight, because it was what she wanted. I will never forget, but had to get on with my life.just wishing I could find true love again, I will never give up hope.

hmmmm,,,,,dont know why I always try to read between the lines but,,,, could the above statement also mean that they aren't the best person for you and that you (meaning that person who ever) could do better?
