yeah I knew he was canadian. the thing about the blind spot, if you look straight ahead you dont see as well as if you slightly avert your eyes
astronomers , always slightly avert their , eyes and can see stars more clearly, I have tried it looking at stars , it is true. weird huh ?

Yes, weird. Never heard that one. I know that artists learn to squint when looking at a drawing to bring out details. I just each this stuff up!  Just call me uber-geek (thats what one Engineer called me at AMD).

the glass has to be in direct sunlight for a long time, the lead in the glass turns it , in the sun.I used to work on a phone crew , taking down old wires, a lot of the glass insulators were purple. got good money for them

if i'm remebering my shit right i believe glass is actually in a very thick liquid state at normal temps.... at least that's the reason i got to why old windows get those blurry spots and become thicker at the bottom!?

I think I have heard that too , but also the old windows are "blown glass" , so they are far from perfect,they have bubbles ,and even sometimes a grain of sand.

but, the reason it turns is the substance put in to make it clear. the world supplier for it (i think it was manganese), was germany.
during the war they found out arsenic would work as well. after the war, nobody used manganese any more.
wish you had saved me some of them insulaters. they make great clutterments.

Oh yeah, you screwed up and it's spankin' time, let me see if I can remember what the Jr. high princepal use to say to me all the time, while he he took his practice swings , oh yeah, he'd say "Turn around, spread your legs, bend over and grab your ankles!!" He was a terrifying man, big man, pale icey blue eyes, booming deep voice, and at least 2 or 3 times a week, he'd pop into one of my classes, I'd look up to see him curling his index finger giving me that "follow me" motion, and it was off to his office, where he would break out that long wooden paddle with all the holes cut out of it! Man, he could raise a few welts and my ass would sting for the rest of the day.

as for the 90%? i'd say probably... hell the reason guys like to compete or have the best job or the shiniest car or the biggest truck and so one is to get that trophy girl in their dreams isnt it? so add the 50% of the time we think about sex on purpose then add in the time we spend on these other things in attempts to get sex... maybe 90% is low?
