Why Do Women?
Why do women live longer than men?
Women tend to live longer than men. In 2021, this difference amounted to a 5-year gap in global life expectancy: the average life expectancy was 73.8 years for women versus 68.4 years for men.
What causes these differences?

Why do women live longer than men or what causes these differences is by no means an easy question to answer. Has anyone actually ever tried to carry out this type of research? But I guess there are too many outside influences to conduct this kind of study and I’d say it would be impossible to carry out anyway. As far as I reckon throwing out figures for 2021 proves nothing as this is too soon after the Covid crisis which is probably still in our system and could be a future deciding factor for men leading to their final demise for this generation. More men died during Covid and supposedly more women died during the Bubonic Plague era around the 15th century. Putting aside the outside influences of famine, war, drug abuse, despair etc, surely the only accurate way to find out would be to have 500 men, 500 women enclosed in an area of identical age, breathing the same air and on the same diet to level out the playing field and reveal the true death gap years. But this would be considered inhumane and would never happen. Even if it did it would only produce yet another pointless set of statistics, as it still wouldn’t answer the original question. Why do women of the same age outlive their men? What chromosomes or whatever, do women possess that allows them to give multiple births and endure all the stresses and strains imposed on her in doing so, that would knacker out any mechanical machine and still go on to live longer than her male counterparts by some fair old margin? I think looking into this type of question might partly reveal a few answers.

The coronavirus is partly to blame for the recent growth in the gap. Masculinity may have contributed to masking and vaccine hesitancy during the height of the pandemic, “and more risky behaviors in general.”
Estrogen can help protect the heart and the brain, and it can lower inflammation and improve muscle mass and bone density. In fact, estrogen is believed to be the reason women develop heart disease — the leading killer in the U.S. — a decade later than men.
Women tend to be a bit more proactive with regard to their health. From young adulthood to midlife, women tend to see a doctor more often than men.

Obviously people like us have chosen to be lower down the chain when it comes to the knowledge on how the body clicks into life and can keep going. It’s a miracle of nature that no one as of yet has managed to tick all the boxes. I’m pretty much in the global 90% in that their Doctorate degrees are only big as Google allows it to be. For those further up the chain with the advanced knowledge like the Doctors, the PhD’s, the Biologists, the Scientists and the late night Saturday bar drinkers etc; who have the better know-how on what’s happening still don’t fully understand the operating process which without no doubt, will continue ‘til the day humans become extinct. As far as I get it, each sex is impregnated with both Oestrogen & Testosterone albeit at different ratios and constantly trying to balance out their levels depending on our day to day activities. When in unison they keep us sane and develop our body in the direction they should for our sex. But even by adjusting these two hormones to the perfect setting cannot be how women are able to outlive men. If it was just down to correcting hormonal levels then surely transsexuals would outlast us all.
If I could move to a Biblical scenario as an example for a minute, because regardless to religious or ethnic beliefs it is a well know parable to us all. Once God had presented Adam to the animal kingdom, God set about knocking up a mk2 version which we will call a ‘her’. Assuming God only had one set of blueprints and to avoid replication, turned the ‘her’ inside out so that the ‘him’ parts and reproduction bits were now on the inside as opposed to the ‘him’ genitalia on Adam remaining external as these need a cooler environment to function correctly. God was impressed with his latest creation of inverting the first prototype and in accidently doing so, produced a version that looked far more elegant, glamorous and beautiful and decided to call ‘her’ Eve, (which would be the obvious thing to do when following the vowel sequence). God was pleased. But God did not stop there, but decided to add some pizzazz. Adding this pizzazz into Eve’s makeup ensured that the future generations of ‘her’ would have the ability to outlast all the Adam’s.
My point being is that if today’s boffins could locate this pizzazz within the structure of the female body, they would be a step closer to finding out why men hit the daisies long before women do.
