Still around, 3 out of 4 of us had the flu so far I have kept Pa from getting it. My house smells of Lysol. Wiping everything down that was touched with lysol, spraying beds and rooms with Lysol. I have been sleeping in the chair till Pa gets out of bed then I crawl into bed to sleep then get up change the sheets spray the bed and room and put fresh sheets on for Pa to go to bed. The temps are gone now just bad cough and still a little achey, sore from coughing and I think sleeping in the chair. should be in more often now

I caught a touch of the plague myself....fought it off a bit with echinacia, and devils club root,......and washed it down with a clear substance,..that really burned my throat.

Alternate home through cracker country . scenery of cows, palms went to Okeechobee. real clean little town v very impressed saw horse stables, rodeo arena, fruit stands with gator heads and gator jerky. Warm and overcast. Good six hour drive

Because they went through 2 cars per episode,...and a Dodge is fast but worthless....and Uncle Jessie had enough sense to run a Ford,....Moonshiners can't afford breakdowns......

seems this snow and cold just don't quit. now -26 for a low tomorrow night. we made blueberry waffles for breakfast with porkies, wash it down with coffee. lunch today will be chili dogs with heaps of onions and peppers on top crystal light on the side.then watch some TV , the wife made a yellow cake with fudge on top...

I spent over three weeks in Michigan in record breaking snow and cold then I come back to NJ and have a snow storm then record breaking cold for the next few weeks. WTF!!! I am so over winter. I am going to Arizona for a few weeks. I leave around mid Feb. I need sun!!!

-26 is a number that should not even be said in my presence. It makes me cranky. Cold means pain to me. I don't like it. I will admit the snow is pretty until all the cars and people ruin it. I like to view it from a big picture window while sitting in front of a nice warm fire with a great cup of tea or hot coco and a great man or I can settle for a great book even. But I don't want to be in the snow. I do remember when I had all the right gear for being out in it, it was okay, but I don't have snow mobile suits, boots and down mittens anymore. So I stick to the inside looking out.

I wouldn't have that problem because I wouldn't even attempt to put the key in. I wouldn't be out side close enough to it. We would get along very well, we both have the same feeling about temperatures like that.

Don't send me any hate mail but it's only -5 here... thats about 22 degrees American....but it's supposed to go down to -20 by Thursday...and they say ..-40 real soon, and it don't matter what side of the thermometer you look at, thats were Farenheit and Celcius meet , right there at the very bottom.

yup I'm still among the living - My brother had a heart attack, at same age my dad died at. He the only man left in my life that I depend on at all - it was a tough one for me, but thankfully modern medicine & 3 stints & he feels better than ever! I just started a new job that I love and trying to get the divorce paperwork moving forward as ex-Mr thinks life as is, is just fine, but I do not agree. Ready to move on to the next chapter already, so let's close this one!
So I am still alive in NY, and YUP we still have snow!!

I'm alive & well.... sort of.. still lifting weights to get my strength back like it was. Doing 60 reps with 50 lb. Weight. Still playing guitar but lacking strength in my fingers to hit some notes. I'm amazed how much strength I lost from that surgery.
