Erecting things is my vocation :)
A simple country boy who once enjoyed riding my horses and neighbour's pigs (huge!) around! I was 12 y/o when I rode my first pig...it was much different than a horse. For the record, a pig is harder to steer and can break bones if they step on your foot. (So much weight on a tiny foot!)
Memories of being chased by bears in my backyard! Skunk liasons, porcupines, wolves, ducks/geese (huge pond in backyard), frog's croaking/singing loud enough to give you ringing ears the following day! Where you find frogs, you also find snakes! eeewwwwwww! ( I can go on about more critters...?)
Now, I'm in the concrete jungle called Toronto, Canada :)
The city offers activities ranging from "Are You Looking At Me?" to "Dodge The Bullets!"
It was a slight lifestyle adjustment....?
Came outta the closet when I got here and started working as a Construction Supervisor...a far cry from the farm!
Mind you...my 1st boss described the worker's as 'Pigs!'
As it happened, they turned out to be alright when not mistreated, like my boss tended to do.
You can imagine the challenge of overseeing over 100 men at work? Some old enough to be your father...and you're their boss! Shirtless, sweaty, horny hunks!????
Sure beats an office job eh?
I had some interesting moments at times, but survived.
Coming face to face with that bull moose (while on a 110 mile canoe trip) in GOD'S country helped! That moose taught me never to back down from a challenge. Even when the odds seem stacked against you...STAND YOUR GROUND!
I shit my pant's, but stood my ground!
